When all device software is installed and the machine does not respond when you click print, this means that the printer has not received data. you can troubleshoot some operations one by one.
1、check whether the power is on, whether the blue light is always on, and whether the data cable is connected to the computer. if the red light flashes, reinstall the paper and pull out the paper. as shown in the picture:

2、check whether the printer is connected to the computer. if the printer is connected to the computer, there will be usb printer support. if not, it means it is not connected to the computer. re-plug the data cable and change it. usb interface solution. as shown in the picture:
how to view: you right-click my computer (computer) →manage →device manager →universal serial bus controller,
see if there is one USB print support or USB Printing Support, if it indicates that it has been connected to the computer,
one printer support means one printer is connected to the computer, two printers means two printers are supported.
3、 if the printer port selection setting is wrong, printing will not be possible. the printer port should be selected usb port. as shown in figure 2
setting method:you click on windows start menu →control panel →printer and fax (or device and printer) →
right click on your printer driver →select printer properties →port →select with US or USB port starting with (if there are multiple
port, such as usb001、usb003、usb005 wait, give priority to port 005 with a larger port value), and then select application.

4、if the printer driver is suspended or offline, it will also cause printing failure. just cancel the offline or suspended operation. as shown in figure 3
setting method:find the printer icon in the lower right corner of the desktop and double-click it.
a dialog box will pop up. if you right-click on the dialog box, a menu will pop up.
uncheck 'use printer offline' and 'pause' in the menu and see if printing happens.
5、 the printer mode is wrong. this printer has two modes. the receipt mode requires printing with the receipt driver ( GP5890x ticket driver), label mode requires a label driver, if done incorrectly it will result in
cannot print or is garbled.
mode switching method:turn off the printer - press and hold the two buttons above - turn on the printer - wait 6 s a left and right beep prints out the current mode.
